Learning how to play cards.
Play date with my friend Maddie!
This Christmas season, we decided to stay home and enjoy local festivities.
First, we went to the tree lighting in a town about 20 minutes away. It’s a place we like to go to when we need a mini staycation because the city is beautiful and very family-friendly.
As you can see, I got my face painted. We waited in line for over 2 hours just to make that happen – mommy and daddy were a little bit grouchy about that. But they stuck with it, as long as I understood that we would never wait in line for that long again.
We also went to Enchant Christmas, which apparently is held every year in a different city. This year, they came to us! So we bundled up and enjoyed seeing lights, sipping hot chocolate, figuring out a light maze, and even some ice skating!
On Christmas Day, we started with matching pajamas and presents!
We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, tamales for lunch, and traditional Christmas meal for dinner. And s’mores of course! It was the best Christmas ever!
I went to school like normal, where they celebrated my birthday! Mommy even made special unicorn cupcakes for me to bring to class, and my classmates said it was the best cupcakes they had ever had!!
And then at home, I was greeted with balloons!
And then presents!!
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner to celebrate, and then later that week, I had my birthday party at a jump house! No pictures from that because it was all glow-in-the-dark disco madness.
